DAY 5

I think the minimalistic lines along with the new-time feminine chic vibes of The Row is something that fashion world looks for nowadays. This year, the brand presented leather maxi coats and jackets, high waisted trousers, silk pieces and oversized sweaters combined with those amazing leather bags. This year we weren't disappointed by Donna Karan (not that we were expecting for this to happen); See-through, gold, fur and leather were some of the details that the brand used for this collection. Fairytale looking/airy dresses, wool coats and pieces which are able to enhace every womans feminine side.

Zac Posen never fails to amaze. Like always his collection was the perfect mix of ladylike daytime attires and old hollywood inspired gowns. Wool details and an autumnal colour palette were included. We loved the classy styling and the flowy, silk red carpet-ready dresses. Reem Acra's collection was filled with transparencies and embelissed details. Gold, black and cold toned nudes mixed perfectly together in order to create a unique collection which certainly had something from a different era.

There was a '90's vibe at the Rag&Bone fall collection. The mixture of dark tones and pops of almost -uncomfortable to look at- colours consisted his designes. There were a lot of interesting materials mixed together -like silk and leather-. But what gave a different edge to the otherwise tough looking leather jackets were the lace details popping out. At the 3.1 Phillip Lim runway we saw -first and foremost- a really wearable collection. The key colours were grey, black, white and red which consisted the checkered designs. The leather details, the amazing outwear and the bold lips were probably the highlights of the show.

Tommy Hilfiger collection: the sophisticated wardrobe that should be behind every yearbook. This season, Hilfiger, staying true to his principals, presented a classic american collection which consisted with the actually wearable versions of various cheerleader uniforms. And we loved it. A lot of wool, fur -and collars-, because after all it was a winter collection. Last but not least, Prabal Gurung's collection had a lot of sexy, yet feminine, details, like high slits and transparent details. Great shoes, fur details (once again) and amazing styling (we totally loved the middle part hairstyle) were all those details that complimented the attires, promising a great show.

A few of our favourite moments were the behind the scenes photos of Johannes Huebl wearing a Tommy Hilfiger football Jersey at the Hilfiger show, which he attended with his spouse Olivia Palermo, as well as the appearance of Naomi Cambell who walked next to Zac Posen at the end of his show.
