LFW S/S '15: Day 2 (Part 1)

Fashion Weeks are again on and this year we could define all the trends for Spring/Summer 2015 from the begining. Join us to our journey where we'll be discovering all the things that need to be checked out during the upcoming weeks.
So, let's continue with the rest of our favorite London Fashion Week!
Barbara Casasola & Jasper Conran
Barbara Casarola's collection was really minimal and relaxed with a few intriguing details. The silk, pleated skirts , the cut-out dresses and the lightweight shiny materials which gave a 3D finish, reminded us of proper all-day looks. On the other hand Jasper Conran with his knee-length dresses and his minimal style was all about chic American sportwear. The geometric and/or futuristic, abstract prints gave an extra boost to his collection which was really refreshing and out-of-ordinary for a british designer.
Emilia Wickstead & Julien Macdonald
Emilia Wickstead's candy coloured and nude dresses were simple yet beautiful. This collection was all about tailored-to-perfection pieces and the mixture of classy and innovative textures. Even though the dresses had no prints whatsoever they were so beautifully made that had this collection standing out in its simplicity. Julien Macdonald's show was quite the opposite; following the trend of the new florals inpired by Far East, his prints reminded us of the ones we could find in a classic kimono. His collection might differ, but was a pleasure to watch as it featured two beautifully detailed wedding dresses which we really loved, as well.
Hunter Original & Holly Fulton
Alasdhair Willis' collection for Hunter was all about functioning sportwear with a twist. And even though we weren't massive fans of the colours at the beggining of the show we really enjoyed the funky prints with the geometric details. Holly Fulton's collection was elegant and chic combining eastern floral motifs and graphic designs. The colours were simple (black,white, blue, red) yet combined with the relaxed lines they created a high-end yet really wearable collection.
