How to style: Maxi Coat

Winter is coming and -as usual- when it comes to outwear, we vote for coats! Winter without a warm, cozy, but always stylish coat, cannot be called winter. Our addiction to them inpired us to open our new post secton (which is called "How to style" ) with our beloved and must have pieces. So, in this post, we will try to give you some ideas and tips on how to wear and style your maxi coat for this winter.
Coat + Sneakers.
Give a sporty edge to your outfit! This season sneakers will be again on. More and more brands created their own sneaker line, so your choices can vary. If you don't want something haute couture, aka expensive, a pair of your favorite Nike or Adidas are just perfect!
Coat + Leather details.
Leather is always in fashion (aa well as a classy choice). If you want to add some rock details try a pair of leather leggings or a good pair of shoes. And remember: leather doesn't have to be black! Choose colors such a blueblack, deep green or red!

Coat + Sport Look
This outfit will is totally inspired by Chanel. At the latest Chanel show we saw those total pink outfits with the grey-white coats! Just copy the look.
Coat + Something High Waisted
Choose whatever you want. Jeans, skirts, trousers etc. Combine them with simple t-shirts or monochrome shirts. If your coat is in bright or neon colors don't overdo with the colorblocking.Try to create a balance between your coat and the other clothes.
Coat + Mini Skirts
I love mini skirts and this season are again a trend. So, this contrast between your maxi coat and your mini skirt will create an awesome outfit! To complete the look I suggest you wear ankle boots.
Coat + Dress or Coat + Ankle Jeans
As for the dress keep it simple if you don't want to look overdone. Printed dresses are also proper for this look. On the other hand, if you want to create a casual and daily outfit go for our favorite jeans that end in your ankle. Combine them with your high heels or your loafers.
Coat + Boyfriend Aura
If you are up for minimal, androgyne and oversized, join the club. For this outfit boyfriend jeans or white shirts are the ideal. As for the shoes your perfect loafers are the perfect match. For a night out high-heels are ideal!
